I don't...believe it, exactly. But it is something that occurred to me in my thoughts and I haven't been able to shake. To do it to enemy gods would be an act of terror. To do it to allied gods would potentially alienate those allies.
If the allied gods were to give themselves to it willingly, there would be little conflict. We've pledged our lives to this - I can't imagine that some will not be willing to pledge more.
I hope that speculation is all this will come to. It could be that this war ends well before all of Ymir has been consumed, or that we lose this battle and it matters not at all.
Those are very kind words. I'm relieved that isn't just myself and Siegfried being disturbed by this particular element.
That is a fair point, and a well made one. But when I think of every god I've encountered, I struggle to see them consenting to a matter like this. They're all too proud, and from what I have learned, there are gods who have allied with the Regency as a matter of survival.
Your hopes are mine. If the Regency is ultimately destroyed and never exists, then there is also hope that Ymir will avoid this fate.

Most of mine have taken that side. Athena favors COST, and two others sit on the sidelines. I'd advise asking the other Chiron regarding yours.
